Bayer Cares Foundation

The Bayer Cares Foundation is an independent foundation established under German civil law. Owing to its promotion of charitable purposes, youth welfare, elderly welfare, nature conservation and landscape management, as well as environmental protection, it is exempt from corporate income tax pursuant to Section 5 (1) No. 9 of the German Corporate Income Tax Act (Körperschaftsteuergesetz) and from trade tax pursuant to Section 3 No. 6 of the German Trade Tax Act (Gewerbesteuergesetz).

Bayer Science & Education Foundation

The Bayer Science & Education Foundation is an independent foundation established under German civil law. Owing to its promotion of science and research, education, public and vocational training, as well as student support, it is exempt from corporate income tax pursuant to Section 5 (1) No. 9 of the German Corporate Income Tax Act (Körperschaftsteuergesetz) and from trade tax pursuant to Section 3 No. 6 of the German Trade Tax Act (Gewerbesteuergesetz).
