Bayer Foundation Science Awards Ceremony

On 17 February 2021, in a virtual ceremony, the Bayer Foundation will present five outstanding scientists with the 2020 Awards: The “Early Excellence in Science Awards” honor four talented young scientists,  Julia Mahamid (Biology), Marinka Zitnik (Data Science in Life Sciences), Nicolai Franzmeier (Medical Sciences) and Josep Cornellà (Chemistry). The internationally renowned Otto Bayer Award goes to Ruth Ley for her groundbreaking research on the human microbiome.
